$10,000 For Réseau’s project to promote government policies that respect and protect the rights of Tamazigh-speaking Berber communities through the creation of a Monitoring Office of Amazigh Linguistic and Cultural Rights.



Amna Association for the Protection of Female Victims of Violence (Association Amna pour la protection des femmes victims de violence)
$5,000 For general support of this organization, whose activities include educating women in the northern city of Tangier and surrounding rural areas about their rights and providing legal assistance to female victims of violence to help them bring charges against their attackers.



Aquarium Theatre Company
$15,000 For general support of this organization, which promotes greater awareness through theater of women’s rights recognized by the reformed family code and of the problem of violence against women.



Democratic Association of Moroccan Women  (Association Démocratique des Femmes du Maroc - ADFM)
$15,000 For general support of this organization, whose activities include providing technical assistance to local women’s rights organizations and compiling local documentation of violence against women in order to press for the full implementation of laws promoting women’s rights.



El Amane Association for Women’s Development  (Association El Amane pour le Développment de la Femme)
$15,000 For general support of this organization, which seeks to ensure the full implementation of the revised Mudawana (Family Code) in Marrakech and surrounding rural areas by educating women about their rights, facilitating access to the legal system, and working with other human rights organizations to inform policymakers about continuing violations of women’s rights.



Friends and Families of Victims of Clandestine Immigration  (Amis et Familles des Victimes de l’Immigration Clandestine – AFVIC)
$15,000 For general support of this organization, whose activities include providing legal support to migrants from sub-Saharan Africa, promoting police compliance with Morocco’s immigration laws and providing training to human rights and development organizations regarding migrants’ legal rights.



Initiative for the Protection of Women’s Rights in Meknès  (Initiative pour la Protection des Droits de la Femmes Meknès—IPDFM)
$5,000 For general support of this organization, whose activities include providing legal support to female victims of violence and pressing local and regional authorities in Meknès to implement laws that protect women’s rights.



Moroccan Association for Disabled People  (Association Marocaine des Déficients Moteurs – AMDM)
$10,000 For general support of this organization, which promotes the rights of people with disabilities by proposing legal and policy reforms, and by providing education, training, and medical, legal and social support to people with disabilities.



Moroccan Association to Fight AIDS – Marrakech  (Association marocaine de lutte contre le SIDA – ALCS Marrakech)
$10,000 For ALCS’s project to document cases of discrimination against persons living with HIV/AIDS, especially marginalized groups such as sex workers, gay men, migrants and street children, and use this documentation to promote their rights.

$20,000 For general support of this organization, whose activities include mobilizing 7,000 grassroots members across the country to demand government policies protecting human rights.



Moroccan Forum for Truth and Justice  (Forum Marocain pour la Verité et la Justice – FMVJ)
$20,000 For general support of this organization, whose activities include providing psychological and legal support to victims of serious human rights abuses committed between 1956 and 1999, and promoting institutional reforms that will prevent such state-sponsored abuse from recurring.



Organisation Marocaine des Droits Humain  (Moroccan Organization for Human Rights – OMDH)
$15,000 For general support of this organization, whose activities include promoting human rights and the rule of law by conducting public education and making policy recommendations on judicial reform. 



Women’s Development Association  (Association Épanouissement Féminin – AEF)
$5,000 For general support of this organization, whose activities include promoting women’s right to education in marginalized areas of Casablanca and providing legal support to poor women to facilitate their access to the judicial system.



Women’s Research Association for Development  (Association de Recherche Féminine pour le Développement – ARFEDEC)
$5,000 For general support of this organization, whose activities include promoting women’s rights in northern Morocco by educating women on the rights recognized by the revised Mudawana and by providing legal assistance to female victims of violence.
