$15,000 For general support of this organization whose activities include providing women experiencing violence with legal support and educating Algerians about the rights of Amazigh (Berber) women.

$15,000 For general support of this organization, which promotes the rights of the families of the victims of violence by armed Islamist groups, to know the whereabouts of their loved ones and seek justice, and for its project to promote the welfare and rights of children affected by the Algerian conflict of the 1990s.

Collective of Women of the Black Spring (Collectif de Femmes du Printemps Noir)
$8,000 For the Collectif de Femmes du Printemps Noir’s project to provide female victims of violence with legal and psychological support in Kabylie (Tizi-Ouzou, Bougie and Bouira) and to educate Algerians about the rights of Amazigh (Berber) women.



Djazairouna
$15,000 For general support of this organization, which promotes the rights of the families of the victims of violence by armed Islamist groups to know the truth about the whereabouts of their kidnapped loved ones and seek justice, and for its project to promote the welfare and rights of children affected by the Algerian conflict of the 1990s.

$5,000 For general support of this organization, whose activities include documenting cases of forced disappearance committed by government security forces and pressing for the establishment of an independent truth commission to investigate disappearances and prosecute the perpetrators.

$10,000 For ANFD’s project to coordinate the development of a joint database between four organizations of families of victims of the “dirty war” presenting organized and reliable data on cases of disappearances and abductions.

$5,000 for the Collectif du Printemp Noir’s project to provide female victims of violence with legal support to bring charges against their attackers and to publish a newsletter on women’s rights.

$5,000 for general support of this organization, whose activities include providing psychological and legal support to victims of human rights violations, and organizing the victims to campaign for an independent truth commission to investigate and prosecute the perpetrators.

$10,000 for SOS Femmes en Detresse’s project to provide female victims of violence with legal assistance and to provide information to women, authorities and development associations about women’s rights.

$10,000 to support its project to open a women’s rights center in the violence ridden city of Djanet, Tassili, which will provide female victims of violence with legal assistance and will educate women, local authorities and development associations about women’s rights.
