For the Fund for Global Human Rights

The Fund for Global Human Rights was founded by a group of U.S. and Europe-based foundations concerned that, while in the last twenty years, human rights work on the ground has steadily increased, the funding for such activities has not. The Fund for Global Human Rights was founded to support human rights organizations and movements around the world by bringing new financial and other support to struggling, often isolated human rights organizations and by creating opportunities for the exchange of ideas, strategies and mutual support among these otherwise isolated human rights groups.

The Fund is deeply grateful to the following donors and foundations that have provided critical and generous support in our early years.
